The biggest fan of all was the grandfather of Sanne-Roos, he spent 4 days a week with Sanne-Roos as a little girl with her pony to learn to take care of them, especially getting on and off a lot and painting nails, the driving was not yet so important, being with her grandpa with her pony Mokki was the most important thing for both of them.
Grandpa managed to motivate Sanne-Roos until the last moment to enjoy the horseback ride and never give up, 2 days before the Dutch National Championships Grandpa passed away, but not before he had said that she had to ride the Dutch National Championships. With every success I think of my grandfather who taught me the basics and gives me the strength to continue. |
